Talk about a goose egg! Lauren decided it would be fun to "bunny hop" over to the sink to wash her hands at daycare this morning before breakfast. Well, the bunny had a breakdown and tripped on the mat in front of the sink and she went flying head first into the sink. OUCH. (the laser dots are still fading... it takes forever)
Of course they called me and I immediately ran back to get her. She was not a happy camper when I got there. They had an ice pack on her face and when they moved it I tried not to panic. Oh, it was a huge goose egg. So, yes, she was coming home with me AND we were calling the doctor, just in case.
We stopped by the house on the way home to see Daddy and then sprinted to the doctor's office.
The doctor checked her out and basically said there wasn't anything that could be done. The ice pack was a good thing, but she'll still have a bad black eye once the swelling goes down.
Seriously, that was a scary moment for us and her!
