Catherine's preferred method of buggy riding

Catherine is 11 months old and I've done a terrible job of keeping up with her stats. We are just so busy and Trey travels a lot now so doing everything when he's gone is plenty!!!

Right now the things to note:
1. Catherine adores Lauren. I mean this girl is infatuated with her sissy. I love it ! And Lauren wants to play with Catherine and take a bath together every single night. And when Catherine gets out first, she tries climbing right back in.
2. She has started eating big people food at school. Today was the first official "school lunch". She loved it! She has been doing this at home and supplementing baby food. But hopefully we are done with that soon.
3. I started mixing whole milk in with her formula to start weaning from that. I will be glad to be done with the bottles. But that means my itty bitty baby is getting big!!!
4. Catherine finally got over a really bad virus that gave her wheezing and an awful rash. Hoping that never returns! And praying that we get a good report on the next check up for ear infections.
5. Catherine is not really talking but she babbles constantly. And she loves to put her hand/wrist up to her mouth and say Babababababababa while moving her hand in and out of her mouth.
6. Learning to drink from a sippy. She is getting the hang of it. Along with throwing it on the floor! And then she says Ugh!

I am not ready for her to turn One. :(.

Almost One and Getting Big

Every time I sit down to write an update I forget everything I'm about to write about.  It's not writers block, because I'm not a writer.  I think it's exhaustion.  Because every time I sit down for more than 10 minutes I get sleepy.  We are busy, what can I say?

Catherine is growing entirely too fast, as is Lauren.  But I love that my girls love each other so much.  They smile ate each other all the time and Catherine's face lights up so big when Lauren walks into the room.  I love it!  I've been thinking all along that Catherine is a Momma's girl, and for the most part I think she is, BUT I also think she is just as much head over heels for her big sister.

She wants to do everything "Sissy" does.

Right now Catherine is doing a good job learning how to drink from the sippy cup.  She has not had a night time bottle in a couple of months and she won't let me rock her to sleep anymore at night.  :(  Makes me so sad!  But look at that smile!

Solid food is coming a little slower with Catherine than it was with Lauren.  With Lauren, she was off baby food at 10 months and never looked back.  She totally refused baby food and I couldn't make her eat it.  But Catherine is perfectly fine with still chomping (okay, just swallowing) the baby food from the jars.  She is good about trying anything I put on her tray though.  She ate broccoli the other night!





The girls have been able to bathe together and they have such fun in the bathtub together!  Catherine wants to get the bathtub so bad when Lauren is in there!

I guess Lauren is getting into the sassy and serious pose these days.... I can never get her to smile for me when the camera is in my hand!

But right now, this girl?  She smiles at me all the time.  Ha!  I guess when she's 4 years old she'll do me the same way Lauren does.

I adore my two sweet girls so much... we are blessed to have them!
