I think we are going to have to go back to the regular Similac Sensitive formula instead of the Parent's Choice brand due to some tummy issues... she is having some trouble in the number 2 department.
She has some slight cradle cap and also either baby acne or excema. One pediatrician last week said it was excema because her little face was rough and it was also on her eyelid and it was causing the eyelid to swell. It's still not gone down completely and I'm trying to put lotion on it to keep it from being dry, but it's hard to do that. Hopefully it will clear up soon and her eyelid won't be swollen anymore. It's not terribly nocticable, but it bothers me. But I worry about everything. Any suggestions?
The other concern is the flatness to the back of Catherine's head. She favors looking to her right when she is sleeping so it's flatter on that side of the back of her head. So, we need to work on repositioning while she sleeps and do more tummy time. The doctor suggested Physical Therapy to work her neck muscles and movement. Hopefully everything will work itself out and her head with round out with some time.
I should add that she is perfectly healthy and weighed in at 9 lbs. even and she is 21 1/2 inches long. Lauren was 9 lbs. 12 oz and also 21 1/2 inches long at her 2 month appt. So far they are about on track with each other. Catherine is happy and healthy and we are so blessed!
This picture (below) is Lauren at 2 months... anybody think my girls favor each other???
In other news, Lauren told me today that when she grows up she wants to be a cheerleader, a doctor, a momma, and a cooker. :)
In this picture she's being a fisherman... she loves fishing with her Papas and Daddy!
